THE 2018 Vodafone Fiji Primary Schools Kaji Rugby was launched at the St Marcellin Primary School ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva, today.
Vodafone Fiji’s chief marketing officer Rajnesh Prasad was the chief guest at the launch.
“I acknowledge the hundreds of teachers all over the country who have toiled tirelessly for a number of years running the Kaji Rugby competitions,” Prasad said.
“To all the parents who back the sport and encourage the children to participate. Your investment will reap rewards in so many forms. Not all will become Fiji reps but you have positioned our children to learn teamwork, dedication and to strive for success.
“These are the basic values that will build your child’s character to be strong young men and women and become a better citizen of this country.”
The national finals will be played in August.
