The winner of the Digicel Fiji Premier League could be confirmed today.

Rewa, which is in second spot with 29 points, needs to win all its remaining three matches to have any chance of winning.

The Delta Tigers will be up against Tailevu Naitasiri today and a draw or loss to Rewa will see Lautoka be crowned this year’s winners.

That match kicks off at 3pm at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park.

In other DFPL matches this week, Tailevu Naitasiri will play Nadi at 6pm on Thursday at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park.

This match will also serve as the remaining match of the Battle of the Giants day one fixture which could not be completed because of a power outage in Nadi last month. In another national league battle, Ba plays Tavua at 2pm at Garvey Park on Sunday.

Tavua needs nothing less than a win to avoid relegation from the top division next year.

Meanwhile, the newly promoted team to the Premier Division will also be confirmed on Sunday. Nasinu will battle Savusavu for a spot in the Premier Division.

The two teams met last Sunday at Ganilau Park in Savusavu and played to a 1-all draw.

The match kicks off at 1pm at the HFC Bank Stadium.
