Pacific island heads arrive in Tuvalu for leaders meeting

LEADERS of the 18 member-States of the Pacific Islands Forum have started arriving in Funafuti, Tuvalu, for this week’s PIF forum leaders meeting.

Cook Islands Prime Minister Henry Puna was the first to arrive today, alongside Niue’s Minister Billy Talaga and French Polynesia’s Alpha Tearii.

Marshall Islands President Hilda Heine arrived yesterday.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama is expected to arrive at 12.40pm.
