Leader of Opposition Inia Seruiratu wants to rebrand the Opposition as he reiterates that there is no place for adversarial politics in Fiji.

In addressing about 400 accountants and business people at the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants Congress 2024 at the Shangri-la Resort in Nadroga, Mr Seruiratu said : “I want to rebrand the Opposition and look at the national interest.”

“Adversarial politics is not the way forward, let’s work together, we are here for Fiji and that’s our value,” he said.

“We need to move together on that but a few things I want to stress and one is the paradigm in the civil service and the paradigm in the private sector.

“These two are very different and with all due respect to the civil service, they need to change their mind set because we cannot change anything if we don’t change our mindset.”
