Swire Shipping Fijian Drua head coach Mick Byrne has hinted at the idea of introducing a new style to how they play their matches in the Super Rugby Pacific competition this season.

He expressed this following a grueling two-hour training session under hot and humid conditions at their new training pitch in Nadi yesterday morning.

Byrne said their first pre-season match against the Brumbies this Saturday would be a good test to their three months of training.

“We will see how our new style of game that we want to play, holds up and how the boys handle facing a different opposition,” he said.

The Drua departs for Australia on Friday and face Brumbies at the Viking Park on Saturday at 7.45pm.
