Children in Savusavu will soon be able to celebrate birthday parties at the new Silversun Children’s Park, officially opened today by Local Government Minister Premila Kumar.

The town council, she said have plans to build more facilities within the Silversun Park to allow children to celebrate birthday parties.

“This is part of the councils development plan but of this stage the children can enjoy the facilities in this park and we thank the donors for their assistance.”

The upgrading of the park cost donors $10,000.
