The three-day Netball coaching workshop aims to connect Netball Fiji’s coaches and Australian coaches to learn and grow together.

Held at the Vodafone Arena conference room in Suva, the workshop focuses on teaching best coaching practices to enhance local athletes’ performance and high-performance behaviours.

Supported by the PacificAus Sports program, the workshop exemplifies the Australian government’s and Netball Australia’s commitment to supporting development and opportunities for athletes and coaches in the region, emphasizing the strong historical connection between Australia and the Pacific.

The workshop is led by Netball Australia’s Ali Tucker Munro and Matt Mulcahy, along with four highly credentialed Australian netball coaches.

The program delves into the concept of “Our Way – Our Style” in the local context, involves a deep dive into understanding how culture shapes and guides game style and coaching practices.

The three-day workshop started on Tuesday and will end today
