THIRTEEN students from Navesau Adventist High School in Wainibuka, Tailevu, visited Parliament on Thursday to witness the 2019-2020 National Budget debate.

History teacher Christine Homelo said it was an honour to be part of the Parliament sitting.

“The students have learned a lot in this one-day visit to Parliament.

“It will help them in their studies especially when they are learning about the way Government functions,” she said.

“Even this is my first visit to Parliament and I am really honoured to be part of this process too.”

The students were also given the chance to take photographs with Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama, Government and Opposition MPs.
