Nausori Highlands murder trial: Isoof handed life sentences for family’s death

Mohammed Raheesh Isoof has been handed life sentences for the murder of Nirmal Kumar and his family in the Nausori Highlands in 2019.

Justice Thushara Rajasinghe handed down his sentence at the High Court in Lautoka a while ago.

Justice Rajasinghe stated Isoof betrayed the trust of his best friend by murdering them.

He has been handed life sentences for the five counts of murder and one of attempted murder with a minimum term of 20 years for the attempted murder charge.
