VTBOP music label today launched its latest live music show “VT1S Suka Na Vuli” that will be held at the end of this month.

The music label has assembled a star-studded line-up of local musical acts with the inclusion of Paradise Rootz, Yanu Boyz, local musical sensation Taitusi Mareau and Mata Dance for the event that has been described as a perfect family outing.

VTBOP managing director, Tikiko Korocowiri said, “This show is a family show. There is no alcohol allowed on site. We’re open to families who will be attending on the day.”

Mr Korocowiri said the event which is a day after the end of term 2, would be a perfect avenue to entertain local music fans and help VTBOP in their quest to create a sustainable livelihood for local artists.

“The school holidays are on Friday, (and) our show is right after on the 26th of August.

“This has been an ongoing process of uniting the music industry that has been happening over the last 6-8 months,” he said.

With over 95 per cent of their tickets priced below $20, the VTBOP music team is urging local music fans to show up in numbers.

“We’d like to keep this affordable for as many people to attend the show on 26th of August, and we hope you come in numbers,” Mr Korocowiri said.

“We’re committed to bringing you exciting musical experiences to Fiji.

“We’re all about taking Fiji music to the world and we believe that journey starts right here at home.

VTBOP Music has partnered with Fiji Sports Council, Events Plus and Ticketmax to bring this event to life.
