Nausori highland murder victim Nirmal Kumar’s mobile phone contained images of the man standing trial in relation to his and the deaths of four other family members, Mohammed Rahessh Isoof.
While taking the witness stand at the Lautoka High Court this morning, Deputy director Organised Crime Acting Superintendent Aiyaz Ali confirmed the pictures were taken by the late Mr Kumar.
He said out of the 11 images taken from the alleged crime scene, two pictures showed Mr Isoof standing near the edge of a cliff.
He said the site where Mr Isoof was standing was where the bodies of the late Mr Kumar, his wife Usha Devi, their daughter Nileshni Kajal, 34, and their grandchildren Sanah Singh, 11 and Samarah Singh, 8 were allegedly found.
The trial continues this afternoon.
