THE HFC Bank Stadium in Suva yesterday was a sellout for the two Fijian Drua matches.

This was confirmed by Fijian Drua head of sponsorship and marketing Shane Hussein.

He said this was something great to witness.

“It is fantastic. It has been a good and interesting build-up to this doubleheader,” Hussein said.

Hussein acknowledged the support shown by the fans.

“The Fijian Drua women’s semi-final against the Western Force and the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s massive, epic clash against the Hurricanes.

We are so grateful to the people of Suva and from all over Fiji who have come over to lend their support to both teams.”

The HFC Bank Stadium was the place to be yesterday and fans flocked in numbers to support the Fijian teams. Hussein confirmed it was the first time the 15,000-capacity stadium was a sold out for a Drua match.
