Masi rakes up good numbers

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua centre Iosefo Masi is raking up some good numbers as the Shop N Save Super Rugby season heads towards its 10th round this weekend.

He leads the statistics in defenders beaten with 41 while Selestino Ravutaumada is third with 34.

Masi is second in metres gained with 590, Ravutaumada at sixth with 542 while fullback Ilaisa Droasese in ninth with 471.

The former Fiji 7s star equals Reds hooker Matt Faessler with six tries so far while other Fijians Hoskins Sotutu of the Blues leads the tries stats with eight and Crusaders winger Sevu Reece is second with seven.

Masi and Sotutu are levelled on 76 and in seventh on carries made.

Wing Epeli Momo is fourth on clean breaks with nine and fellow speedster Ravutaumada is on seventh place with eight clean breaks.

Looking at the team statistics, the Fijian Drua are still on top of their scrum game with a 95% success rate.

Drua is second with 260 defenders beaten and third with 1003 carries made.

The Fijian side recorded 4349 in metres gained so far and it sits them at fourth while they’re fifth with 47 on clean breaks.

Drua and Crusaders share the number one spot in yellow cards issued with six so far.
