Tagimoucia Ranadi defeated Service 12-5 in the women’s final clash to be crowned champion of the Fiji Bitter Labasa 7s.

This is their first to win in a big local tournament.

Coach Kamanieli Tuiwasa said they had only been reaching finals but had not been able to win any local tournaments.

Tuiwasa said they would not have been able to win without the strength of the Almighty and support from families and friends.

“I would like to thank the girls for a superb game,” he said.

He said the win was for all their supporters.
