Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women prop Ana Korovata says she has complete faith in the front row get the job done in the Super Rugby W final against the Waratahs this Sunday.
Korovata had this to say during the Drua’s Anchor Breakfast Club visit to the Hindu Maha Sabha School in Tunaila, Nadi yesterday.
The hard-hitting forward will miss the final after she was handed a one-week suspension.
“When I was made known that I would not be able to play the final, I was not stressed at all as I have complete faith in the front row,” she said.
Korovata says the Drua W is stacked with quality players that can easily fill up for her in the crucial match.
“I just want to wish the girls lots of luck and I am 110 per cent faith that they will get the job done.”
She said no team was perfect and the girls have put behind their 21-62 loss to the Waratahs earlier this season.
“If any team was perfect, there would be nothing to build upon. We need to play our style of rugby and just need to execute it well.”
Drua W backline player Luisa Tisolo said they hope to see a large Fijian crowd in Brisbane turn up to support the girls.
“We heard there is a lot of Fijian community in Brisbane and they would be cheering for the girls.
“We need to build up points early in the match to set the pace of the match,” added Tisolo.
The final at Ballymore kicks off at 4pm on Sunday.
