Judgment for Waqainabete tomorrow

MAGISTRATE Waleen George will deliver her judgment tomorrow in the case involving the former spokesperson of the then Ministry of Works and Public Utilities.

Sainiana Waqainabete was charged by the Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption with 11 counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception.

Ms Radrodro was alleged to have falsely stated that the Minister for Works, Transport and Public Utilities had requested money totaling $8260 in 11 separate occasions.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between May, 2010, and June, 2011.
