THE Embassy of Japan will continue its commitment to assist in the area of gender-based issues through its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project (GGP) programme.

The Embassy’s Deputy Chief De Mission, Tsuguyoshi Hada highlighted this during a press conference for the Rights, Empowerment and Cohesion (REACH) project as part of the Fiji Women’s Expo 2018  at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva today.

“The Ba Women’s Forum Training Centre is one good example of GGP assistance reaching out and benefiting women in Fiji,” he said.

Mr Hada said there has been more than 14, 000 people in Fiji who have benefited from the REACH services.
