LANKY forwards Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Kalione Nasoko will join the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s training camp next week to prepare for the London and Paris 7s which would also conclude the 2017/2018 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

Coach Gareth Baber took the players for their last training session for the week at the Uprising Beach Resort in Pacific Harbour, Navua, before releasing the players to join their family for the weekend.

Baber said he was working with the players who had been part of the team this season.

“The players who had been part of the team in the previous tournaments are back in the team with Keponi Paul and Teri Tamani who both played in Singapore.”

Uluiyata Batinisavu had been in the previous training camps and Vatemo Ravovou who missed the Singapore 7s because he was sick is back. Samisoni Viriviri had been in the Hong Kong and Commonwealth Games squad.

“Sevuloni Mocenacagi, who damaged his rib was with us and he had light training and has gone back home while Kalione Nasoko is down with flu.”
