Iconic ‘buiniga’ stays; MP raises $11,500 in campaign

Opposition Member of Parliament, Lenora Qereqeretabua collected more that $11,000 to keep her hair in the WOWS Kids Fiji “Save it or Shave it” campaign.

In her official Facebook profile, Ms Qereqeretabua thanked everyone for supporting WOWs Kids Fiji.

“With your support, WOWs Kids Fiji was able to raise a total of $22,676.81 in their ‘Save It or Shave It’ 2019 Campaign,” Ms Qereqeretabua said.

“My campaign managed to raise approximately $11,500 of which only $172 was put towards ‘shave’,” she said.

“Thank you to everyone who put money down to support the work that WOWs Kids Fiji does. The money raised will go far and help with the work that they do.”
