THE lead singer of the band that gave the world the hit song, I Wanna Know What Love Is will perform today, Saturday, December 14, at Albert Park, Suva.

Kelly Hansen, front-man for United States band Foreigner says he is excited to be in Fiji and to be part of a show that also features legendary American rock guitarist and producer Rick Derringer and Tony Wilson, the man dubbed Young James Brown by the godfather of soul himself.

Wilson began his career as a Michael Jackson impersonator in 1980 and was so good that the king of pop asked him to act as a body double during his VICTORY tour.

Event organiser, businessman and founder of Yaqara Waters Bob Bishop said the rock concert was his way of thanking Fiji.

“Fiji has given me so much and this is my way of saying thank you,” he said.

“Fiji is in for a treat, you are going to witness some of the best in the music business right here in paradise.”
