Deputy Prime Minister Viliame Gavoka remains the Minister for Education.

In an interview following the SODELPA AGM, Mr Gavoka said that the endorsement of Aseri Radrodro as new party leader is to lead them into the 2026 General Elections.

“I want to tell the nation that I am still the Minister for Education, Minister for Tourism and Deputy Prime Minister,” he said.

“Mr Radrodro is an experienced politician and I am happy with the results of the meeting.”
