THE Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, today visited the Suva Municipal market and was welcomed by hundreds of bystanders as well as market vendors.

The women vendors stood right outside the market singing songs of welcome to the Duchess.

She was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers and took a five-minute tour of the market.

People stood along the Stinson Parade bridge and welcomed her with flags and cheers.

Excitement and hype could be felt all around the market even after the Duchess had left.
