THE Fiji Airways Fiji 7s side registered it’s second win at the Hamilton 7s after beating Argentina 33-24 this afternoon.

The Gareth Baber-coached side started the match on high with a try from playmaker Waisea Nacuqu.

However, Scotland replied with two tries from Santiago Mare and Mateo Carreras.

Meli Derenalagi also scored two tries in the first spell which gave Fiji the lead going into half time 19-12.

Franco Sabato and Fernando Luna also touched down a try each in the second half but it wasn’t enough as the defending champions extended their lead in the second half with a try from Vilimoni Botitu and another from Alosio Naduva which hammered the final nail in the coffin.

The national side will take on Australia in their last pool match at 6:52pm tonight.
