FSC praises landowners in new joint venture

LANDOWNERS of the new joint venture cane farms with Fiji Sugar Corporation has been praised for supporting the sugar industry.

In visiting the landowners today, FSC CEO Graham Clark told landowners in Nasarowaqa, Bua that their support would definitely boost sugar production.

The landowners of mataqali Nukusolevu and Veikurakura also shared the positive changes they have experienced since giving their land to FSC for cane farmng projects this year.

Mataqali Nukusolevu rep Sakiusa Kabakoro said they have been economically empowered through the joint venture project.
