The Essential National Industries (ENI) Decree of 2011 that curbed union rights in the country was drafted by a law firm in New York, Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations, Agni Deo Singh has said. That’s the big news on the front page of The Fiji Times for Monday, November 27.

The second story on the front page is about the confiscation of 10 kilograms of white substance believed to be methamphetamine with a street value of $12 million.

And the third story is about the Speaker Parliament, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu set to make a ruling about whether the statement, “they (Fiji First) looted the workers by forcing them to use their Fiji National Provident Fund during the pandemic’, was offensive and unparliamentary.
