THE Fiji Roads Authority is advising members of the public to be extremely careful when driving to the conditions of flooded roads.
The authority stated the Naboutini Village road along the Queens Highway had been reduced to a single lane because of flash flooding.
The FRA has also advised members of the public to expect delays, be extremely careful and drive to the conditions.
The authority stated that its contractor was monitoring the situation and may need to close the road if public safety was at risk.
In the meantime, motorists are advised to obey road signs and direction by Police and Traffic Controllers.
