TWO contractors – Higgins Fiji and Dayal Quarries – have been appointed to complete remaining work on the recently-terminated contract on Kings Road between Rewa Bridge and 9-Miles.
Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) chief executive officer Jonathan Moore said both contractors had worked with the authority on a number of projects and had done an exceptional quality of work.
“This is one of the crucial projects of the FRA to improve traffic flow and we have full faith in both the contractors to get the job done,” Mr Moore said.
Work on the project is set to get underway from Monday, October 22, 2018, and is anticipated to be completed by June next year.
