Fiji National Rugby League chairman Aporosa Lutunauga is calling on Fijians to show their support to the Vodafone Fiji Bati as they brace for the Pacific Bowl final showdown against the Kumuls today.

The two teams will meet for the second time at 5pm today in what will be the deciding game of the competition.

Lutunauga expressed his appreciation to the Fijians in Papua New Guinea for turning up in numbers to cheer on the Bati.

“To the people of Fiji, this is your national Bati team and with the slogan of Noqu Kalou, Noqu Vanua which basically means Our God and Our Land and people, we request you to support this team.

“This is a developing team with a set of very young players and a few experienced players. We are building for the future so come the next world cup we will be in a better place and even create history by winning the cup.”
