Five students arrested up north for alleged theft

LABASA Police have arrested five students aged between 18 to 21 years of age for allegedly stealing money from the Macuata Muslim League Headquarters over the weekend.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the men were alleged to have broken into the office located adjacent to the mosque and stole more than $4000 cash.

Ms Naisoro said full recoveries of the money allegedly stolen had been made.

She said the men were being questioned as investigations continue.
