Six Fijians are expected to feature in the Kilik Cup match this Sunday between the Barbarians and World XV at Twickenham in London.
Barbarians and Wallabies head coach Eddie Jones has roped two Fijians in the form of Wallabies inside centre Samu Kerevi and former All Black and FIJI Water Flying Fijian Seta Tamanivalu.
It’s an incredible honour to be asked to coach the Barbarians for a second time,” said Jones while speaking to Planet Rugby.
“I am very much looking forward to returning to Twickenham Stadium — a venue I have so many fond memories of — as head coach of the Barbarians, and I’m more motivated than ever to put on a show.
“Going up against Steve (Hansen) rekindles a great rivalry which first started in our days competing in Super Rugby and progressed into the international arena.
“It’ll be a great challenge and one we’re both relishing.”
Meanwhile, World XV coach and former All Blacks head coach Steve Hansen has a star-studded side with players such as Flying Fijians Viliame Mata, Api Ratuniyarawa, and Semi Radradra. Wallabies winger Marika Koroibete is also in Hansen’s squad and the 2015 Rugby World Cup winning coach will look to utilise his players against a tough Barbarians outfit.
The match will be played at 4am on Monday.
