Fiji is amongst 60 plus countries whose citizens don’t need to go on a 14 day quarantine period when arriving in England.
Britain is scrapping the 14-day quarantine rule for arrivals for these countries which are deemed “lower risk” for the coronavirus.
“Today marks the next step in carefully reopening our great nation,” said UK Travel Secretary Grant Shapps.
“The entire nation has worked tirelessly to get to this stage, therefore safety must remain our watch word and we will not hesitate to move quickly to protect ourselves if infection rates rise in countries we are reconnecting with.”
Under the new plan all passengers will still be required to provide contact information on arrival in the UK.
