FIJIAN Police are working closely with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces to investigate another finding of a bullet in Nausori.

Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu today confirmed a 21-year-old man found a single bullet while resting at the Syria Park in Nausori on Monday.

ACP Tudravu said the man reported the matter at the Nakasi Police Station.

“We are working with the RFMF as investigations continue,” ACP Tudravu said.

On May 19, this year, about 30 bullets were found in Natabua, Lautoka, and the RFMF chief of staff Brigadier General Jone Kalouniwai later confirmed the bullets belonged to the RFMF.
He had said that the rounds, found outside were RFMF’s property, was misplaced during some particular exercise.
