IT was a learning experience for the Fiji players who participated in the South Pacific Open Junior Championship at the Regional Tennis Centre in Lautoka.
All the three players – Saoirse Breen, Ruby Coffin and Charles Cornish – lost their opening round matches in the singles category.
Tennis Fiji secretary Sachin Reddy said the level of the overseas players who entered the event was very high.
