The Fiji Fashion Week and Palmolive Resort Cruise show kicked off to the beats of drums by Rako Pasefika and a floor show of dance at the Vodafone Arena in Suva last night.

Jackie Whippy was first out with her collection entitled JACQUE WHIPPY.

Australian fashion figure Nicholas Huxley was next with his collection EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN.

It was no surprise when the models walked out in cool but vibrant colours and relaxed looks that the VIBE TRIBE collection was indeed a vibe by Hupfeld Hoerder and Emma Trembath.

Something a little edgier came out in PORTULINA by Cecilia Fong, which did not leave one wanting for colour either.

DUATANI by Hosanna Kabakoro brought an earthy feel with its beige, orange and pink tones, topped off with hats.

Harsha Harsmeetal’s HARSHA DESIGNS came in hot with its fire colours.

Breaking in with hues of violet and blue was ASHOURA by Bulou Caeway.

Esiteri Selina Talakuli’s NAU COLLECTIONS came with the thrill of the frills.

LAVALANI Fiji by Su Samuels brought in the masi and browns with its long flowing gowns.

Zulfika Ali and his collection AZA stood out with its variations on the Salwar Kameez.

The long free-flowing dresses of the KIRI NATHAN collection by New Zealand designer Kiri Nathan moved across the floor like long white clouds.

HOUSE OF MAUSIO by Michael Mausio combined killer prints and cuts to close the show.
