Fans farewell Fiji rugby teams from San Francisco

THE Fiji Airways Fiji 7s and the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s teams have departed San Francisco this morning.

About 30 fans were present at the airport to farewell the national players teams and thanked them for their efforts in this year’s Rugby World Cup Sevens.

Skipper Jerry Tuwai, Josua Tuisova and Semi Radradra are likely to leave tomorrow.

The Fiji 7s team lost to South Africa in the bronze medal play-off while the Fijiana defeated China for the world rugby 7s 11th ranking.

The two teams are expected to arrive tomorrow morning.
