A FORMER schoolteacher accused of sexually violating a female student has denied charges of sexual assault and rape.
The accused pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual assault and two counts of rape, allegedly committed on an unknown date between June and July at a school in Nasinu this year.
The prosecution informed Justice Daniel Goundar that the accused made no admissions during his caution interview.
The accused remains on bail, and the matter was adjourned to November 23 to set a trial date.
