Swire Shipping Fijian Drua head coach Mick Byrne says he has had to make lineup changes due to injuries ahead of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash against Blues in Auckland this Saturday.

Rangy fullback Ilaisa Droasese faces a one to two-week absence with a knee injury, while winger Taniela Rakuro is set to miss four weeks.

Despite the setbacks, Byrne expressed confidence in the team’s preparation, emphasising improved training quality and fitness.

Anticipating a tough match, Byrne acknowledged the Blues’ physicality and emphasises mental preparation, with senior player Tevita Ikanivere motivating players.
