THE Swire Shipping Fijian Drua aim to end their 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season on a high note when they face the Queensland Reds tomorrow.

Despite missing out on a playoff spot, Drua head coach Glen Jackson said the side remained highly motivated to finish the season strongly and give fans something to remember.

“The boys have been super positive,” Jackson said.

“They had a players’ meeting on Monday just to talk about the importance of finishing this season well. We’re not going to make the playoffs obviously, but to finish your last game with a win is what people remember.”

Jackson said the team had embraced the challenge of a short turnaround and tough travel schedule, with emotions also running high knowing it could be the final appearance in the blue jersey for several players.

The Drua coach believes his side’s style of play matches up well against the Reds, setting up what he expects to be an entertaining clash.

“The Reds are probably a little bit different to most teams. Their forwards are not massive, but very skilful in how they play.

“So, we’ve tried to match that with our backline as well. Having players like Salawa and Miramira in the loose forwards, who are in very good form, hopefully gives us front-foot ball.”

Jackson added the Drua would rely on their attacking structure and playmaking ability, with Kemu Valetini and Isikeli Rabitu expected to play key roles.

“It should be a cracking game.”

The clash kicks off at 9.30pm tonight at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.
