Eighteen people were charged for 35 separate counts of sexual offences last month.
Of the 18, one was a juvenile and one was a police officer.
Rape accounted for the highest cases recorded, making up 22 of the 35 cases.
This according to the sexual offences statistics for March 2020 released by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions today.
Other cases recorded included a case each of attempted rape, assault with intent to commit rape, aiding and abetting rape, three cases of indecent assault and seven cases of sexual assault.
