THE DHL staff has shown their support to the Flying Fijians for the 2019 World Rugby Cup preparation.

While hosting the William Webb Ellis Cup at its company office in Raiwaqa this morning, acting general manager Sarvesh Devan said rugby was important.

He said the trophy visit was an illustration of what the cup means to rugby fans and enabled them to show support towards the 2019 World Cup in Japan.

“We are one of the major sponsors in the next year World Cup and having the Webb Ellis cup here with us had boosted our staffs morale in taking time out and take pictures of the prestigious cup,” Mr Devan said.

“We just want to let our Fijian warriors know that we support them as they prepare for the 2019 World Cup in Japan next year.”

The cup visits the Japanese ambassador’s residence this afternoon.
