SUVA lawyer Shazran Abdul Lateef, who is charged for being found in possession of illicit drugs, had his bail extended by Suva Magistrate Liyanage Wickramasekara.
Defence lawyer Devanesh Sharma sought time from the court to make representations of the charge to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions before Mr Lateef takes his plea.
Mr Lateef is alleged to have been found in possession of 0.0136 grams of methamphetamine on August 7 in Suva.
The case has been adjourned to October 2, for plea.
