Concerns have been raised regarding recent cases of theft reported from nursing stations and quarters, says Health Minister Dr Atonio Lalabalavu.
“I am aware of some incidents,” the minister said.
“I will try my utmost best to resolve the problem.”
Dr Lalabalavu also called for greater vigilance and support from the local community.
“It is important to protect healthcare workers, they play a crucial role in delivering essential services to communities.
“There’s a need for collective responsibility in ensuring the well-being of healthcare personnel and maintaining the integrity of healthcare facilities.”
