The Neptune Pacific Direct Line (NPDL) will resume its weekly sailing schedule between New Zealand and Fiji with strategic hubs in Auckland, Tauranga and Suva.

The company made the announcement recently stating the returning weekly product between the two countries would strengthen NPDL’s Fiji-based connectivity to the smaller South Pacific island states, which it serviced with two dedicated, Fiji-based feeder vessels.

The weekly product would also allow NPDL to offer a level of service, with full global supply chain connectivity, to its customers in the South Pacific as its mission was to service the South Pacific markets with the highest frequency which the market volumes could support.

The new schedules were said to be an updated operational collaboration with Maersk and would be phased in from weeks 10 to 12 this year with the product to be fully deployed by April 1, 2021.
