Teams from the Bank of the South Pacific have been deployed around the country to assist Ministry of Social Welfare recipients in opening new banks accounts.
BSP’s Country Head-Fiji Haroon Ali said this had been done as part of their joint effort with the ministry.
“To ensure that these customers do not have to come and join the normal queues in our branches to open new accounts, we have mobilised our staff at various centres around the country who are well supported by the ministry officials on a daily basis,” Mr Ali said.
