A 12-year-old boy who is alleged to have sexually assaulted his five-year-old half-brother is among the 22 people who were charged last month by the Director of Public Prosecutions for sexually-related offences.
According to the DPP, there were 22 people charged with a total of 48 counts of separate incidents for the month of November alone.
The offences included 24 rape cases, one attempted rape, two aiding and abetting rape, one abduction of a young person, one indecent assault, two defilement and 17 sexual assault cases.
There were 20 victims of whom 16 victims were under the age of 18 years.
There were nine incidents where the victims and the accused were related to one another.
