Blues need new coach

TOORAK Blues is in need of a coach to take them through for the remainder of the Suva Rugby Union club competition.

Club official Nima Waqalevu said they were still looking for a level two coach to help them rebuild their team.

“For the time being I am looking after the team and as we all know we need a qualified coach to help us through so we are still looking for some ways to try to get a head coach for the team.

“Then the team can perform better and play well.

“We’re trying to develop the young kids who had just joined us and to take them away from crime, peer pressure and refrain them from doing any criminal activity so this is the main objective of this team.

“We don’t have any major sponsor to help us, but we’re getting there slowly as you can see we have a number of unemployed youths in our team so they are all trying their best to contribute to the team’s welfare.

“We’re thankful to the Gujarati community in Toorak for helping us as we prepare for this year’s season,” Waqalevu said.
