BA defended its 2018 Vodafone Women’s Senior League after beating Labasa 1-0 in their second match at the Fiji Football Association Academy ground in Vatuwaqa yesterday.
National striker Cema Nasau scored the lone goal midway in the first half.
Labasa tried its best to find the equaliser in the second half, but Ba’s tight defence and the fighting spirit of the players did not allow the Labasa strikers to score.
Ba captain Louisa Tamanitoakula said the players trained hard for the victory.
