DAYAL Sawmillers Ba FC president Praneel Dayal is confident his side is ready to deliver another strong performance when they face Navua FC in their Extra Premier League clash tomorrow at Churchill Park.

“The boys are really prepared and we are making sure it’s going to be a good game against Navua,” Dayal said.

Ba enters the contest at the top of the standings with 10 points from four matches and remains unbeaten this season. The Men in Black are coming off a dominant 4-0 victory over Nasinu and will be aiming to maintain their winning momentum.

Dayal acknowledged that preparations were briefly disrupted by recent bad weather, with a few players affected during the cyclone period.

“Yes, we had a couple of absentees around the cyclone day, but the next day we had to get all the players out,” he said.

“The weather was not good but we had our plans for the wet season.”

Navua, on the other hand, will be desperate for a turnaround, sitting eighth on the table with two draws and two losses. They are yet to register a win this season but will take confidence from their 1-1 draw against Lautoka in their previous outing.

The home side is also expected to receive a boost with Solomon Islands international striker Ali Mekhawir likely to feature.

With Navua chasing its second win and Ba looking to extend its unbeaten run, an exciting encounter is expected.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $2 for children aged 5-10, while children under five will enter free.
