Three African nations will make their PacificAus Sports Netball Series debut when eight teams, including Fiji, compete on the Gold Coast next month.

The third edition of the series will be held at the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre from April 24-29, with the opening ceremony taking place on April 23.

For the first time, Kenya, Malawi and Zambia will travel to Australia to compete in the competition against returning teams Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Singapore and dual-series champions Tonga.

The inclusion of the three African nations provides an opportunity for Pacific partner countries to improve their performance through exposure to teams rarely competed against.

The Fiji Pearls take on Malawai, Papua New Guinea and Samoa in pool play.

Tonga faces Kenya, Malawi and Zambia.
