THE Fiji Roads Authority will close off the Natewa West Coast Road in Cakaudrove for culvert repair works.

The closure will take place on Thursday night, this week to allow contractors to attend to necessary maintenance works.

The FRA has asked motorists to organise and use other options of travelling through this area during the 10 hours closure.

However, standby vehicles for emergency cases would be organised by the FRA.

“FRA would like to advise members of the public that the Natewa West Coast Road in Vanua Levu will be temporarily closed from 7.30pm on Thursday May 23 to 5am, Friday May 24,” the statement said.

“This is a planned closure that will allow our contractors to carry out culvert repair works. “During this time, access will be prohibited and there will be no detours posted.”
